NH Democrats are driving excessive local spending, which in turn fuels high property taxes, while simultaneously attempting to unlock the threat of an income tax. Meanwhile, NH Republicans are working to tame soaring property taxes and stand up for taxpaying families by advancing HB 1300 — legislation that empowers voters to adopt an inflation‑based property tax cap, promoting smarter local spending and a stronger, more sustainable Granite State. Low taxes are the result of low spending!
